phillipe-defeyt“The insecurity in all countries”

Philippe Defeyt, economist and politician, is graduated in social and economic sciences at the Faculte Notre-Dame de la Paix. Along his professional career, has been a member of the Belgian parliament and of the Wallonia region in different occasions. He is one of the founders of the Green party Ecolo, he was also the general secretary of the party during the eighties, and later spokesperson of Ecolo at the Belgian Parliament. Also he was one of the founders and president of the Institut pour un Développement durable, and until July 2016 president for ten years of the Centre Públic d’Action Sociale (CPAS) in Namur, Belgium.



josep maria haro“Economic recession, depression and suicide: ¿Is there a response from Public Health?”

Josep Maria Haro, Psychiatrist and PhD on Epidemiology and Public Health, he has worked in mental health as a clinician and also as a researcher. His research areas are the epidemiology of mental health disorders and schizo¬phrenia. His latest studies are about decisive factors for a healthy aging, in which he analyses the impact of physical and mental disorders and also the influence of social and environmental elements. Dr Haro is a senior researcher at CIBERSAM network, leading a research group. In 2011, the Spanish Society of Orga¬nic Psychiatry awarded him with the prize to the best researcher.



xavier-bartoll“The effects of the economic crisis on the mental health of the Spanish population”

Xavier Bartoll, Economist, master in public health and working currently at Health Information Systems of the Public Health Agency of Barcelona, coordinating the health report and health surveys of Barcelona city. He has recently participated in several national and international research projects. His recent publications are mainly related to the analysis of the health consequences of the economic crisis and of the labour market environment.

Hervé Avalosse , Senior researcher at de R&D department of AMNC since 1995. His main areas of research are the economic evaluations and empiric studies about the social vulnerable categories in health.

Guilia Camilotti , Researcher at the R&D department of AMNC since 2016. She is a phd in Development Economics at the University of Namur. Her main area of study is the quantitative analysis.



judit pons“Healthcare attention to suicide behaviours at the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic”

Judit Pons, graduated in nursery at the Universitat de Vic and is a specialised nurse in mental health since 2010. She works at de psychiatry and mental health unit of the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic. Currently, she is the head nurse of the PSI and of the Management Programme of Suicide Attempts cases. She is a lecturer for the subject of mental health nursery at the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya, and a member of the research group on mental health and social innovation (SaMIS) CHV-UVIC-UCC.

Michel Cordier, Social worker at the Centre Psychiatrique Saint Bernard since 1974. He has work in different health care services such as: specialised service in behaviour disorders, atypical confusion problems and alcohol addictions, pathologies thar are very up to date and that affect to all levels of society, and, finally, and outpatient care. He is also Social Councellor at Cour du Travail de Mons since 1989.



marta-coromina“The kidstime. Mental health prevention: Multi-family intervention on the effects of parental mental health disorders”

Marta Coromina, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at Universitat de Barcelona and she is specialised in psychiatry since 2005. As a psychiatrist she works at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and since 2010 she coordinated the mental health centres in the towns of Gavá and Castelldefels. She is a member of the research group of Fundación Sant Joan de Déu focused on the analysis of the etiopathogenesis and the treatment of severe mental health disorders linked with mental health interventions. Her main area of research is the psychosis. Since 2013, she coordinates also the care programme for early psychotic episodes of Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and the programme Kidstime.



maria-jose-alvarez“The impact of the use of psychiatric drugs in an assertive community treatment programme in the county of Osona”

Maria José Álvarez , Psychiatrist at the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic, and coordinates the programme of Severe Mental Disorder (SMD) and the Individualised Care Plan (ICP).
Also, she is mentoring physicians who are specialising in psychiatry. As a researcher she is a member of the research group on mental health and social innovation (SaMis) of the Universitat Central de Catalunya and the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic. Her main areas of study are the links between the child trauma and severe mental health disorders and the dissociation element. Currently she is conducting a research on the community assertive treatment in severe mental health disorders.

Belén Arranz, Psychiatrist and PhD in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Linköping (Sweden). Currently, she is a senior psychiatrist at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, Barcelona. She is a member of CIBERSAM, a Spanish research network centre. She has published more than 50 articles in international journals and more than 60 chapters. She is a member of the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology.



murielle-makuch“How networking could offer a specific support to job seekers that suffer from a mental health problem”

Murielle Makuch , Coordinator of the integrated mental health care network and is graduate in social science. She has worked as a social worker in day hospitals for children with autism or pstchotic problemes during eleven years. From 2001 to 2010 has been social worker and a hospital referent of the care continuity in the Hôpital Psychiatrique Saint Bernard. Since 2010, she has worked in the reform progress of mental health care at the Hôpital Psychiatrique Saint Bernard and has been in charge of the implementation of the project locally.



lluís San“Integrated health care: myth or reality” 

Lluís San, Graduated in Medicine and specialized in Psychiatry by the University of Barcelona, he obtained his PhD at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is currently in charge of the Mental Health Unit at the PSSJD. He has participated in several research projects both as main researcher and a team member, as well as in many clinical trials in the field of psychopharmacology.

Santiago Escoté, Graduated in Medicine and specialized in Psychiatry. Since 2001, he worked at the Consorci Hospitalari Parc Tauli and recently has become the Acting Director of Mental Health Unit at the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic.
